Could we create an additional thread (besides the motions and amendments thread for amendments to the manifesto.) After all, amendments for the first round need to be submitted pretty early and the manifesto is basically the most important discussion point for the congress.

If I wanted to write a speech for the Congress, would I have to run it past the party to make sure that I have spoken appropriately for the party?

No. At least, I dont think so. Last year we just let everyone say what he wanted. The congress is the best moment for the members to discuss where we want to go with our party. If we all just had to state the party line there wouldnt be much room for discussion.

Ah, good to know. Obviously, censorship isn't the MRPT way, but I thought that I should check anyway.
