I would like to submit the following amendments to the party manifesto:
1. Amend the clause “The MRPT does not want to become involved with bug-micronations, but thinks the semi-permeable only limits the ability of the government to act in Talossa's best interest.” to read: “Repeal of the semi-permeable wall. No “diplomatic” relations with “bug-micronations”.”
2. Amend the clause “In the distant future diplomatic relations with serious nations that are similar to Talossa are an option.” to read: “Maintain friendly relations with nations that are similar to Talossa.”
3. Remove the clauses: “ No VoC during the first clark.” and “More time for the formation of a government.”
4. Remove the clause: “On the long term an elected seneschal (preferential voting).”
5. Add the following clause to the section “On poltical reform”: “Provinces should be in charge of electing Senators.”
6. Amend the clause “Use of a preferential voting method, like IRV or Ranked Pairs for senatorial elections.” to read: “Use of a preferential voting method, like Ranked Pairs for senatorial elections conducted by the chancery.”
7. Remove the section “On previous acts.”
8. If amendment 7 passes add the following clause to the section “On political reform.”: “Party endorsement should not count in any way for Senatorial elections.”
9. Amend the entire section “On the secret ballot” to read: “The MRPT is happy with the current amendment to introduce a semi-secret ballot, but would like to go one step further and introduce a full automated secret ballot for Cosa and Senatorial elections, under the condition that a diverse independent committee has access to the admin account to monitor the elections.”
10. If amendment 11, 12 or 13 passes add a new section with the title: “On citizenship and privacy”.
11. Add to the section “On citizenship and privacy” or “On other issues” the following clause: “The MRPT does not support plans to make immigration laws more stricter in the sense that more activity or knowledge from the prospective citizen is required than under the current rules.”
12. Add to the section “On citizenship and privacy” or “On other issues” the following clauses: “Any contact information received from the prospective by the immigration ministry or the chancery is strictly private and may not be shared with third parties outside the ministry of immigration or the chancery, with the exception of email addresses, which may be shared with the committee to monitor secret ballot elections, and provincial institutions that have tasks similar to that of the chancery. Exceptions can be made when the information is used as evidence in court cases.”
13. Add to the section “On citizenship and privacy” or “On other issues” the following clause: “The list of email addresses should be regularly updated by the chancery.”
14. Amend the title of the section “On other issues” to read: “On other important issues.”
