1. Id like to announce my candidacy for spot 11 on the cosa candidates list.
2. Id like to announce my candidacy for party leadership.
3. Id like to submit the following amendment to the key statute: "Amend clause 20 to read: "#20. A Referendum is a vote on a motion concerning the party policy or party regulations or documents, or any other party-related issue not linked with the current Clark or the Leader Election. A Referendum can be called by any Member on any issue on which the party has authority. Any decision made by the party leadership, including appointments, can be subject to a referendum. Once a Referendum has started, every Member has to exclaim his opinion (“PËR”, “AUS” or “CON”) with optional explanation. Except where otherwise provided a motion passes a referendum if the PËR votes outnumber the CON votes. The Referendum will end after 2 weeks, after one week if ¾ of the members have voted, or when there’s zero mathematical possibility for a change of the final result."

I don't see the reason to announce candidacies two weeks before the start of the congress, and I don't like the way you are conducting the congress and the party as well.

It doesnt have to be two weeks in advance. It can be done the day before congress as well, or in case of cosa candidacy two weeks into the congress. Most of the procedure is part of the congress regulations, which you supported and voted in favour of. It can be amended though. So feel free to propose an amendment. As for my leadership of the party, I will certainly admit that Im not perfect either, so feel free to come up with constructive criticism or announce your own candidacy for party leadership. Likewise if you object to my leadership of the congress, you are free to ask for a vote on that as well. Or explain what you think I could do differently.

I just wanted to say that we are doing stuff in hurry; and I haven't liked to acknowledge MTP's nomination to Minister, as well as yours as Deputy Minister, only from the website or Witt, after it happened, while I'd have preferred to know it before, here or in the FB group page. That's all.

Well, I agree that some stuff is done in a hurry, which is kinda related to the elections, but actually thats one of the reasons we announce all this two weeks in advance. That way there is a lot of time for members to write amendments, consider their candidacy, etc. As for my being deputy minister, yes maybe I should have discussed that before it happened. Though I do also believe MRPT members who do not represent the MRPT in cosa (and because of this cant vote on the VoC, so there is not possible conflict of interest between being an opposition MC and a minister. ) I dont think the MRPT should be blamed for the actions of its members, as members form the party but dont act on behalf of it like MC's. But at the same time I am part of the party leadership which I think means the MRPT will be judged for my actions as well, so you are right from that perspective and I could have discussed that decision with you. My apologies. (That does not mean btw that I in any way blame MTP for his decision. He is not yet an MRPT representative and I dont think the party should decide on the actions of those members who dont make these actions on behalf of the MRPT. Also, I think this does prove that the MRPT has members who are capable of taking government responsibility.)
