On behalf of the ZRT, I would like to comment on the possibility of us endorsing your candidacy. Would it be possible for you to inform me as to which planks/points/policies you would support of ours that would encourage the party to support you?

I had a look at the new ZRT manifesto. Heres a short version of my opinion on the various planks. I hope this will help answer your question. I am more than welcome to answer further questions about my candidacy. For the sake of honesty I also included the planks I dont support to give you a better look at the whole picture.

1. A compulsory secret ballot, rather than the optional one introduced by recent legislation.

2. Mandatory candidate lists for Cosâ elections.

3. The government to deliver a financial report at the end of each Cosa term, to provide a starting point for the next term's budget.

Agree

4. ZRT provincial representatives to support their provinces to shift to a framework of direct democracy, such as already exists in Fiôvâ and has been suggested for Vuode.

I think this depends on the general activity, size and culture of the province. Each province is unique. Its not the job of the Senate to decide on this issue.

5. A programme of "slimming down" the OrgLaw, leaving it with only the basics of government - for example, moving electoral law into statute law.

Agree in principle.

6. The ZRT will support no government which includes members of the RUMP, until such time as the RUMP has been out of government for at least one Cosâ term.

The Senate doesnt vote on the VoC. Im open to cooperating with all parties.

7. A Talossan Legal Code Act would be implemented in order to codify the Statutory Law into a format that is both easily referred to and ‘articles’ easily located. This job would be taken over by agents of the elected government, from the people in the Royal Household who are currently (not) doing it.

Agree with the intention but disagree with removing this task from royal officers.

8. The royal house has no business in most of what it has. Eliminate everything but the College of Arms from Royal authority - for example, the Chancery to become an independent branch of Government, the University of Talossa devolved to a provincial government, etc.

Disagree.

9. A popular initiative option to remove an incompetent monarch as well as the current Ziu-based one.

Hmm, interesting idea. Not 100% sure yet. In any case such an option should result in the election of a new monarch and not in the end of the monarrchy. Also, removing a monarch is not a casual decision and it should not be treated as such.

10. Simple abolition of the Semi-Permeable Wall Act;

Agree

failing that, support of the current MRPT programme for amendment.

This concerns a different issue, but agree as well.

11. Establish a neutral and informative presence on micronational forums, and the King should do a Reddit AMA.

Not sure.

12. A Translator's Corps to be set up in consultation with CÚG, to ensure that all important documents are translated into (one of the accepted orthographies of) el glheþ talossán.

Agree

13. That the party moves to agitate at a provincial level for the renaming of provinces with the names of foreign politicians, replacing them with Talossan names instead.

I do support the initiative to give Benito a better name, but this is first and foremost something to be decided by the people of Benito (or Atatürk)

14. Legislate to allow the Ziu to step in to fill provincial offices, according to provincial law, when it is clear that the stipulations of that province's constitution have been neglected.

hmm not sure

15. Introduce legislation stating that a single person cannot simultaneously be the head of a provincial government and the Cunstavál of a province.

Disagree, rather an active Cunstaval who also is the head of a provincial government than an inactive one who has no other reason to be online.

16. Agitate for necessary changes to the Organic Law so that the currently unelected position of Cunstaval is replaced with an elected position of the same nature, who will be appointed by the King following their successful election.

Disagree. The Cunstaval is the representative of the King not of the people.

17. A ZRT-led government will call for an additional forum on Wittenberg, moderated but open to non-Talossans of good will who wish to engage with us, like the old "Landing Pier" on Witt-XII (the old Republican Witt).

Not an issue for the Senate (or for a ZRT government for that matter). Witt is a private forum.
