Right, in the draft schedule I sent Jeremy a week ago (which he doesn't seem to have read) the Congress was supposed to begin *tomorrow*. There would have been plenty of time to do everything comfortably, had the schedule been respected. Since that is not the case, we already are five days late.
The amended provisional schedule is:
Registrations for the Congress begin: 14 August (to stay open throughout all the Congress)
Congress Opening: 16 August
Submissions and discussions of amendments to the manifesto & statutes (for consideration in the first round): 16-23 August
Vote on first round of Manifesto amendments: 20-23 August
Vote on first round of statutory amendments: 23-26 August
Submissions and discussions of amendments to the Manifesto & statutes (for consideration in the second round): 23-31 August
Vote on second round of amendments to the Manifesto: 28-31 August
Vote on second round of statutory amendments: 31 August - 3 September
Vote on final version of the Manifesto: 31 August - 3 September
Leadership election: 3-6 September
Appointment of a Party Whip: 7 September
Objections to presumptive Party Whip: 7-8 September
Vote on Cosa candidates and Senate endorsements for CZ, MA and FL: 9-12 September
Vote on motions: Whenever appropriate.
Last minute voting on motions, statute amendments, corrections, etc.: 12-14 September
Congress closing: 14 September
Elections begin: 15 September
For the record, my original schedule was:
