Last year (January 2013, or later) our position was that we 'strongly encourage' MC's to not become minister in a cabinet unless the MRPT is part of the governing coalition. In later versions of the Digest this turned into a more directive instruction:
8) MRPT MCs should not become a minister in a cabinet which doesnt have the support of the MRPT. Why?
I can see that as a party we not give such positions to non-coalition members, but if we're not in power why would we object to letting one of our own have visibility and influence in the ruling government? Is it preferable to remain completely shut out in the cold? Is it a question of optics? Is there a concern about being co-opted? Minister Anglatzarâ seems to have no problem holding his own.

The problem was, as far as I understood, that we refused to be in any government/coalition with the RUMP, as long as they did not sit out at least one whole Cosa.
Since this has happened, I believe that we ought to strike this from the Digest.
