Are there any suggested amendments to the 50 Word Statement? Currently, it reads: My edit is this:
The Moderate Radical Party of Talossa embraces principles over popularity. Our mandate is clear and our ethics are sound. We won't make change for the sake of it, but only to build a better, happier tomorrow. We are united for a free, active, and diverse Talossa. Please support MRPT today.

Amendments to the manifesto:
1. The following sentence will be added at the end of the section "On provincial assigment": "passing the "Small Step Towards Real Provinces Act would be a good first step towards achieving these goals."

Amendments to the Key Statute, Md-0
Ortographic amendments
#6. The MRPT consists of Party Members. Party Members can be appointed offices (see parts II and III) #6. The MRPT is composed by Party Members. Party Members can be appointed to Party Offices. (see parts II and III)
#7. Every Talossan can express his wish to enter the MRPT. New members will be approved as soon as they have the support of at least 1/3 of the membership. [...] #7. Every Talossan can apply for membership in the MRPT. New members will be approved as soon as they have the support of at least 1/3 of Party Members. [...]
#8. Every Party Member can quit the party simply and clearly stating his wish. [...] #8. Every Party Member can quit the party by simply and clearly stating his wish. [...]
Amendments 1 #20. [...] The Referendum will end after 2 weeks, after one week if ¾ of the members have voted, or when there’s zero mathematical possibility for a change of the final result. #20. [...] The Referendum will end after one weeks, after four days if half of the members plus one have voted, or when there’s zero mathematical possibility for a change of the final result.
Right now, it takes an absurd amount of time to pass a Referendum, about three weeks if you count the discussions that eventually lead to voting. I'd like to shorten the period, since 90+ % of the votes are usually cast in the first few days. I'd like to lower the quorum to end the election as well. Three quarters of the total number of members is an absurdly high quorum to end the voting in advance.
2 #22. [...] Any coalition deal must be approved by a majority of MRPT members in a vote taking at least 3 days. #22. [...] Any coalition deal must be approved by a majority of MRPT members in a Referendum.
Since we're shortening the length of a referendum, I'd also like to employ it for this kind of decisions, instead of a generic "vote taking at least three days".
3 #28. If more than 10% of the party membership or a candidate for the party objects to a decision made by the Party Leader a vote lasting at least 2 days will be held on the matter in which the original decision must get a majority of those who voted. #28. If more than 20% of the party membership or a Cosa candidate for the party objects to a decision made by the Party Leader a vote lasting at least 2 days will be held on the matter in which the original decision must get a majority of those who voted.
10% is two members. Two members out of fifteen or so disagreeing is too few to delay/block a decision.

4 more manifesto proposals for the second round:
10. Provided amendment 4 (On citizenship and privacy) passes, to the section “On citizenship and privacy:”, which now reads: “Any contact information received from the prospective by the immigration ministry or the chancery is strictly private and may not be shared with third parties. Exceptions can be made when the information is used as evidence in court cases. The list of email addresses should be regularly updated by the Chancery." add the following sentence: “The MRPT believes that Talossan citizenship should not prevent Talossans from pursuing their own interests outside Talossa and will protect the right of Talossans to do so. This includes joining micronations."
11. Amend: "On the role of the government: The government should not try to do what Talossans can do themselves. Instead the government should try to stimulate private initiative. In most cases, the Government should facilitate and support cultural projects, rather than lead or own them. The Ziu should in most cases refrain from endorsing cultural practices as being "Talossan" when there is no evidence the practice is in fact strongly related to Talossan culture. The bureau of provincial affairs should be abolished, as it is defunct and provinces are capable of running their own affairs."

12. Provided both amendment 5 and 11 (On the role of the government) do not pass, from the section “On the role of the government” , remove the sentence “The bureau of provincial affairs should be abolished, as it is defunct and provinces are capable of running their own affairs."
13. From the section “On other issues”, remove the sentence “Amend the cabinet refinishing act to allow for more variation in the number of ministries between different governments.”

Id like to submit the following motion:
Considering that the only candidate for spot 2 on the candidate list has been appointed Cosa List Leader and there isnt any other candidate for the same spot, the congress hereby determines that unless there are any further changes to the cosa list nominations, and provided all three candidates approve, all candidates for spot 3 to 5 are hereby moved up one spot.
